Meet Dr. Hungsun Chung (Santa Clara, CA)

Hungsun Chung, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 1994. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from the University of Northern Colorado and worked as a chemistry researcher at the University of Notre Dame before beginning her optometry career.

She completed an externship at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, focusing on ocular disease, as well as additional externships in Community Health Centers in the Greater Boston Area, emphasizing family eye care.

Dr. Chung has extensive experience in ocular disease and specialty contact lenses. Her areas of interest include myopia control, dry eye treatment, and the fitting of all types of contact lenses. She is committed to staying up to date with the latest research and developments in eye care to provide the highest quality care for her patients.

In her free time, Dr. Chung enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.
